Boat Detailing & Mobile Dock Service on Kentucky Lake — Call: (731) 982-2336

About Paris Boat Detailing

We’re a Paris, TN-based marine detailing operation focused on the Tennessee side of Kentucky Lake. Lake-home owners, absentee owners, and Henry County boat owners who want their boats detailed by someone who knows the lake.

What We Do

We detail boats. Full wash and detail, marine ceramic coating, oxidation removal, interior detailing, pontoon-specific work, fiberglass and gel coat touch-up, and mobile service at your dock. Spring opening and fall closing packages are our most-booked services. Restoration work for older boats. Brand-specific care for pontoons.

Why Kentucky Lake Specifically

Kentucky Lake is one of the biggest lakes in Tennessee but the TN side’s detailing scene is still underbuilt. Most of the established marine detail shops are Nashville-based and drive in for jobs, or they’re Kentucky-side and don’t cross. Owners on the TN side have to wait, book months ahead, or settle for less specialized service. We fix that — based here, focused here, knowing the water and the marinas.

How We Work

Every job starts with a free written quote. For most boats, a phone call with the make/model/length and condition is enough to give you a number. For bigger work (oxidation restoration, ceramic coating), we look at the boat or work from photos before quoting.

Mobile dock service is the default for slipped boats — we bring water, power, equipment, and supplies to your slip. You don’t have to be there. Absentee owners can authorize work remotely and get photo documentation when complete.

Lake-Home and Absentee-Owner Friendly

A huge chunk of Kentucky Lake’s boats are owned by people who don’t live full-time on the lake. Nashville commuters, Memphis families, Atlanta and Chicago second-home owners. Our standard workflow:

For recurring customers, we set up automatic spring opening and fall closing on the calendar so you don’t have to think about it season to season.

Kentucky Lake-Specific Knowledge

The brown waterline staining on this lake takes a specific approach to lift without damaging gel coat. We know which products work. The mildew that grows on interiors here in the wet-and-humid summer cycle needs different remediation than on drier lakes. We’ve worked the marinas, the private docks, the covered lifts, and we know what each marina’s rules are.

Where We Serve

All of Henry County: Paris, Buchanan, Springville, Big Sandy (Benton County, technically, but we cover it), Mansard Island, Eagle Creek, New Concord, and the rural lake-access communities. Some work in adjacent Benton, Stewart, Weakley counties and across the lake into Kentucky.
